I believe it was fate that introduced Crested Butte to me. Far before Bud Light and Whatever, USA came about! Jeromey wanted to get married in the mountains, we knew we would be moving to Denver before we tied the knot, and one morning The View happened to be on in the background and I heard “Where is the best place to see fall colors.” See, since I don’t watch The View, it just happened to be background noise, I knew it was fate, that and the answer to this question was in Colorado. Crested Butte, Colorado.
I had it scribbled down somewhere in my early wedding planning stages, but for some reason overlooked it and tossed it to the side. I googled’it more and just had to see it for myself.
It was magic. Not just for our wedding, but all of it! It was the first and last place we looked at for out wedding.
These photos are from our second and last trip to CB before the wedding in early August. Great side note, CB is also Colorado’s Wildflower Capital!
In the nearly eight years I lived in California, I never went to San Francisco. Instead, I waited until I moved to Colorado then went back West to see what SF was all about. It was…interesting to say the least. Very unique. My visit was short, just a long weekend, but I sure enjoyed exploring the many parts of San Francisco!
When the Groom cries, it’s THE best! I live to witness that raw emotion, to photograph it is very special!
These two got married in the cutest, most quaint, little small town white church! But that’s not the best part, Ebin’s Grandparents, Parents and late Aunt were married in the very same church. If that doesn’t make for the beginning of a beautiful love story I don’t know what does.

The second wedding I ever photographed was already the most important; my childhood best friend’s wedding. No pressure right? Luckily I do well under pressure and was able to soak up the honor of being asked to capture her big day! I was a little taken aback when she asked me since I had only had one small wedding in the tin. I remember almost talking her out of it because I didn’t want to be asked just because she felt she had to. However, Regina is not that type of person; she is honest, straight forward, knows what she wants, and makes no excuses. (Just a tip of the large iceberg of reasons why she is such an important part of my life.)
I really could ramble on and on since we have been friends since the 2nd or 3rd(?) grade but this post is to honor her and her husband, Brad’s one year anniversary! *PINCH* ya, it has been a year already!
Regina graduated from CSC and wed on the same day, told ya she is a go getter! Right after their wedding they moved to Rock Springs, WY where they bought a house and have been busy making it their own; landscaping, decorating, and gardening. It’s pretty safe to say that Regina and Brad spend the majority of their time outdoors; fishing, hiking, camping, boating, you name it!
Nothing makes me more happy than seeing the people in my life happy and healthy; why this wedding was so important and special to me. The day was all about love, family, fun, and the next chapter!
So Regina and Brad, here is to reminiscing on your perfect day, the past year, and a making a lifetime of memories.
